Inna Aslamova is a dancer, choreographer, teacher and organizer of contemporary dance art events. Graduated as a physicist from Gomel State University (Belarus), she turned her attention from science to art. She started studying contemporary and modern dance technique, composition, contact improvisation, Action Theater, solo performance improvisation visiting ADF training in Moscow as well as many other workshops in different countries. Special thanks to teachers: Douglas Nielsen (USA), Miroslava Kovarova (Slovakia), Joe Alter (USA), Rosalind Crisp and Andrew Morrish (Australia).

CHOREOGRAPHER

 

1994-2023 Creator and choreographer of Quadro Dance Theater. Performances and projects were presented at the international events in Belarus, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Ukraine, Sweden, Moldova, France, Russia, South Korea, Germany, Slovakia and UK.


Since 2022 Inna has created performances in Poland:

2024 Whispering the Sun (Belarus, Poland)

2023 What do the balls dream about? (performance for children, Belarus, Poland)

2022 “Soul” (Belarus, Poland, Ukraine)

 

Creator of the improvisation projects (Belarus, Poland, Ukraine):

2018 “Something about us” (Lublin, Poland)

2022 “Danswer” (Bialystok, Lodz, Krakow, Lublin - Poland)

 

Artist in residence:

2022, 2023 The Zbigniew Raszewski Theater Institute (Poland)

2012 K.A.I.R. Kosice Artist-In-Residence (Slovakia)

AWARDS

 

 

Awarded with special prizes for “Best Choreography”

(IFMC, national contest, 2002) as well as for the dance piece

“In the Face of the Sky” (IFMC, international contest, 2004).

She also won in nominations for “Best dance teacher” and

“Best choreographer” (national contest, 2004). In 2004 she

won in the choreographers contest at the Children’s Ballet Festival “BBF-4” (Daugavpils, Latvia).
